The Multimek™ 96 is a 96-channel pipettor featuring a six-position work surface, high-precision pipetting, and the capability to pipette in both 96- and 384-well microplates. The Multimek 96 can be used as a stand-alone instrument or as part of a fully integrated automated Core System. Since Multimeks are employed in high-capacity, high-throughput applications, there is a need for this instrument to pipette with a high degree of precision, both microplate-to-microplates as well as tip-to-tip within a microplate. Furthermore, the Multimek must be able to accomplish this with a variety of solutions and one particular organic solvent: dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO).
