Silver Ion Trap Reference System – On top of the Long-Life reference system, a silver ion trap is added to minimize junction clogs caused by proteins and sulfites, significantly extending the service life of the electrode in protein solutions testing.
Protelyte – a tasteless, odorless, and microorganism-safe electrolyte that fully complies with EC Regulation 1935/2004 for safe contact with food products. This makes it an optimal choice for accurate measurements in biotechnology applications, including biological fluids, enzyme solutions, and protein-containing solutions, TRIS buffers, etc. as well as in food and beverage applications e.g. milk, yogurt, jam, sauce, etc.
LabSen S-type hemispherical glass membrane - low resistance and high firmness, rendering fully stabilized readings in 15 to 30 seconds, and is yet 10 times stronger than traditional glass membranes, highly resistant to general impact, eliminating the chance of accidental breakage.
The electrode uses a BNC connector, compatible with any pH meters that use BNC connectors. No temperature sensor is built-in. Users need to have a separate temperature probe (ex: Apera Instruments MP500) to enable ATC or manually input temperature to achieve temperature compensation.
